Czarna Góra

Czarna Góra is also run by the Cistercians from Mogiła. In the place of the original wooden church of The Transfiguration of Lord (from the 70ies) a new church in the local style was built. The new parish was erected in 1996. High altar which is the work of the local woodcarving workshop and organs have been preserved from the wooden church. There is a big painting (4/2, 75 m) of Lord's Supper on the highlander porch with the Tatra Mountains in the background- 'The Last Supper'. Its author, Wasal Stasioch also made the rest of the paintings that are in the church.
In the vicinity of the church and rectory there is a retreat-recreational house for the youth, Cistercian seminarists, and fathers.
